Salmon Cakes
Ingredients
- Canned salmon (about 16-18 ounces)
- diced onion
- egg
- dollop of sour cream or yogurt
- ketchup
- lemon juice
- salt & pepper to taste
- bread crumbs (optional)
- matzoh meal
Directions
- Combine all ingredients except for the matzoh meal.
- Form the salmon mixture into balls and roll in the matzoh meal.
- Fry until golden brown to almost burnt (depending on your taste).
- The salmon cakes can also be baked in the oven at 350 degrees until done.
