Enjoy today’s siddur related question and answer, which was provided by Alexander C..
When was the first siddur made?
People believe that the first siddur was made in 1486 in Italy. The siddurim still weren’t mass produced until 400 years later in 1865 . This means that although we use them a lot nowadays they didn’t use them much in the 400 years and they probably just had about 10 or 20 siddurim per congregation.
